Quick Summary

I am professionally trained as a video editor, producer, post-production supervisor, and content creator. I am highly organized and thoughtful while also embracing new workflows and methods to adapt to any situation.

I love editing on Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Da Vince Resolve, and Avid.

Although I specialize in working with documentaries I am happy to work in any genre. My education at Pitzer College combined with my work with Scott Colthorp on the Blackout:On Swan Pond documentary elevated my craft and refined my approach.

I am a people person. I am easy to talk to and a great listener.

My Story

I first started out making short videos and super 8 films. I found I loved storytelling and continued my studies in video and film production through the Media Studies programs at Pitzer College and then at The New School University.

After living in LA and working as a production assistant I moved to NYC. I worked at a film and video non-profit; on countless shortform projects from student films to commercials as a production coordinator and production manager; as well as interning on a CBS Interactive webshow; and trying out working as an executive assistant to a producer at ABC.

During this process of working out in the field I discovered I loved post production. I wanted to be a video editor. I dived in and invested in a six-week intensive editing program at Manhattan Edit Workshop. I loved it!

Scott Colthorp, filmmaker and cinematographer hired me on at his small company, Atmosphere Pictures as a video editor and post production extraordinaire. They worked on a lot of interview and documentary style shorts, commercials, and for many years on the longform documentary, Blackout: On Swan Pond.

This is where my story takes a turn. Life happens and you take a detour. Well, the detour was an adventure and full of leadership, creativity, fun, and a lot of hard work, I worked  in the hospitality industry at an exciting time when the field was growing. Even though I was working in another industry, I always kept my eyes on the editing and production world. I was always happy to make a video for friends or occasionally a client during this time.

Finding work you love to do is important and some people are lucky to find it right away, others, like me, find their way more slowly, but with a lot of hard work along the way. I have a strong skillset to offer from my diverse experiences and I am ready to work!

Let’s work together!
